Sermon Title: Walk your talk - it's your most constant prayer!

One of the central themes of Lent is an increased focus on prayer. But whether we realize it or not, we are already praying 24/7 through the thoughts, words, and intentions we speak and embody. Perhaps Ken Wilber has something like this in mind when he writes, “Be the most ethical, the most responsible, the most authentic you can be with every breath you take, because you are cutting a path into tomorrow that others will follow.“ This Lent, let us turn our attention to the living prayers we’re already speaking.

Zoom Workshop: Deep Embodied Prayer

 —  —

All Souls Interfaith Gathering, 291 Bostwick Farm Rd., Shelburne VT

Prayer looks and feels different for each of us. Many of us pray using our hearts, minds, and words—but we can also pray in a deeply embodied way, sending our prayers through the vessel of our physical being.

In this experiential workshop, we will: Explore a range of different types of body prayer.
Work with chant, movement, and gesture to express gratitude, offer and receive blessing, and cultivate our individual prayer life. Develop simple, daily practices to deepen our physical connection with the sacred.

Cost is $25 (scholarships available) https://allsoulsinterfaith.networkforgood.com/events/25876-deep-embodied-prayer-a-workshop
